Summer - July-September July, August, and September attract the maximum number of tourists to Ladakh. At this time, the weather remains pleasant, and the temperature ranges from 20℃ to 30 °C. While the days are usually warm and sunny, the summer nights are still chilly. Tourists usually enjoy mountain climbing, trekking, and biking in this season. Summer is the best time to visit Ladakh. Winter - October-March October marks the beginning of Winter season, and the temperature here can go as low as -30℃. Most of the roads and highways are usually closed in Ladakh due to heavy snowfall. Although, the genuine beauty of Ladakh can only be seen in winters. Tourists are not recommended to visit Ladakh in November, December, and January. Rainfall- August August is the only month which receives rainfall in Ladakh. The temperature drops instantly after the rainfall and you will probably require some warm clothes and hot food to protect yourself from cold.
