Winters - November to March
Snowfall increases the beauty and charm of this place a thousand times. With the onset of November, nights start becoming more chillier. Temperature sometimes goes as low as 0°C. Gulmarg and Pir Panjal range are the best place to visit and enjoy skiing, cable car ride, and snowboarding in Kashmir during winters.
Summer - April to August
Summer attracts a huge flock of tourists to Kashmir because the climate at this time of the year is moderate and pleasant. Temperature usually hovers between 15℃ to 20℃ at this time which makes exploration much easy and enjoyable. Summer is the best time to enjoy a boat ride in Dal Lake and the beauty of Tulip Garden. However, the prices of hotels and other establishments are higher due to being peak tourist season.
Monsoon - July to September
Monsoon is an off tourist season in Kashmir so can get good and cheap deals on hotels. Monsoon is also chilly as compared to summer months. Pack light woolen clothes, umbrellas, and raincoat for the rain. Apple picking is a common activity in Kashmir during monsoon.
