Saurabh Van Vihar is also a beautiful attraction in Palampur. It is a nature park that was built in dedication to the brave soldier Saurabh Kalia. He was martyred in the Kargil war. This is a scenic place spread over an area of 13 km and is situated on the banks of snow-fed Neugal Khad in Kwat village. It is a perfect day excursion from Palampur (4 km) and a great getaway spot. You will also get to see the stunning Dhauladhar Range from the park and also houses several plants, birds, and trees.
