KASAULI

Surrounded by pine and deodar trees, Christ Church is one of the most visited places due to its spectacular neo-gothic architecture style. It has several stained glass windows which came all the way from Britain. The marvelous church was established by the Britishers in 1853 and is a major tourist attraction in Kasauli. Known as the highest point in Kasauli, Monkey Point is considered to be the place where Lord Hanuman placed his foot while getting for medicinal herbs for Lakshamana in Indian epic Ramayana. You can see some of the most amazing views of the valley from this place and the snow-capped mountains. Not only this, you can also see Sutlej River from this point. You cannot visit this place until you have a special permit as this place is managed by the Indian Air Force.

Located at the end of Mall road is the famous viewpoint of Kasauli. Many tourist visits this place to enjoy the breathtaking views that Sunset Point has to offer. The different colors of the sky will urge you to spend your evenings here. You can experience an easy hiking trail called the Gilbert trail and should be experienced at least once in your lifetime.

It is the shopping center of Kasauli where you can splurge and buy as much as you want. It is divided into two sections - the upper and the lower mall road. This area has famous shops and restaurants and the popular Kasauli Club. There is a lot of people in this area as it is the busiest area in entire Kasauli. It is open every day from 8 am to 8.30 pm.

Established in 1820sby Edward Dyer, this place is a famous brewery known for its various single malt whiskeys and brewed Indian pale ale. Back in the day, the equipments were brought to India from Britain and the area was occupied by the British East India Company. Pay a visit to this Kasauli Brewery any day from 7 am to 7 pm. You will get to taste a sample of distilled whiskey.
