The climate of Desert city of Jaisalmer is heavily influenced by the Great Indian Desert. The temperature in winters remains cool and dry while the summers are extremely hot. Jaisalmer hardly receives any rain during monsoon.
Winters - November to February end
Winters can be extremely cold in Jaisalmer with days remaining quite pleasant at 24-degree Celsius and nights even colder with temperature getting as low as to 7-degree to 8-degree Celsius. So, don’t forget to carry a lot of warm clothing.
Summers - March to August
Summers can be extremely hot and dry in Jaisalmer. The temperature in daytime remains very high and sometimes reaches to 42-degree Celsius. The night-time in the golden city is relatively cooler and the temperature gets low to around 25-degree Celsius.
Monsoon - September to October
Due to the presence of deserts, Jaisalmer hardly receives any annual rainfall and usually remains hot and dry throughout the year.
