This magnificent monument is given shape by using white marbles which has been specifically obtained from Makrana in Rajasthan. This magnificent monument was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan for the commemoration of his late wife Mumtaz Mahal.
Founded in the sixteenth century by one of the famous Mughal emperor Akbar, this fort is a pride of Mughal Empire made up of red sandstone. One can say it is a unique amalgamation of beautifully crafted architecture and religious belief. It is a must visit place for the “history buffs”.
This 94 acres fort built from massive red sand stone was again founded by Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1573. This place has many historical battles related to it.
