This historic site is maintained by the Archaeological Survey of India and charges a fee of Rs. 5 from Indian citizens and Rs. 100 from the foreigners. The Golconda Fort of Hyderabad is an outstanding example of brilliant architecture, and every year thousands of tourists visit Hyderabad for seeing this place only. Golconda Fort is located at a distance of 11km away from the city and is surrounded by a serene environment. Golconda is a Telegu word which means Shephard’s Hill. Its unparalleled beauty and grandeur make it a must visit in Hyderabad. The fort is open from 09:00 am to 05:30 pm and the entry fees is Rs. 15 for Indian citizens and Rs. 200 for foreign citizens.

Birla Mandir is counted among the top 10 examples of outstanding architecture in Hyderabad. This temple is dedicated to Lord Venkateshwara of Tirumala and was created by Swami Ranganathananda from Ramakrishna Ashram in 1976. It is said that approximately 2000 tonne of white marble was transported from Rajasthan for building this temple. At the night time, the mandir is decorated with lights and candles, which multiplies its beauty by seven times. Birla Temple remains open for visitors from 07:00 am to 09:00 pm. Also, please keep in mind that photography is strictly prohibited here.

The Ramoji Film City is one of the topmost film studios in the world, and it is also recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records. With an accommodation capacity of at least 50 films at a time, this location is one of the favorite spots of many film makers. This Film City is a fun and diverse venue where you can indulge in a number of activities such as film city tours, adventure sports, and toy train rides. The film city remains open from 09:00 am to 08:00 pm and the entry fees for adults is Rs. 1150 and children between 01 to 03 years is Rs. 950.

Jala Vihar is one of the prime locations and a popular amusement park of Hyderabad. The park remains open from 10:30 am to 07:00 pm. The entry fees for kids below 3 feet is Rs. 300, and adult with 3 feet or more than that is Rs. 400. This amusement park features several water and normal rides suitable for adults as well as children such as Mini Rainbow wheel, Mushroom Umbrella, Float Slide, Bungee Trampoline, Mini Train, Battery Cars etc. This entertainment park is easily accessible from all parts of the city.

The Hussain Sagar Lake is located at a distance of 2 km away from the main city and is the most popular tourist destination of Hyderabad. This lake connects Hyderabad with Secunderabad. Hussain Sagar lake is also counted among one of the largest artificial lakes of Asia. This lake was excavated in 1562 AD by a Golconda ruler Ibrahim Quli Qutb Shah Wali and was named after a sufi saint Hussain Shah Wali. Visitors can visit this place at any time of the day.

Birla Planetarium is one of the most captivating spots for visitors in Hyderabad.
