Winters - November to February

January and February months bring in more fog and cold, so we recommend you to check the weather before visiting Chitrakoot and driving can be quite difficult here. Summers - March to June
The extreme heat and humidity during summer times does not allow you to enjoy this place at all. The temperature goes up to 47 degrees Celsius between March and June. Summers are not the best time to visit Chitrakoot as the hot weather will resist you from any kind of travel and sightseeing. Months of summers are off-season time as the prices of hotels and resorts drop down a lot. Monsoon - July to September

If you want to see the maximum rainfall, then June and July are the best time otherwise August, September, and October are the recommended months to travel to Chitrakoot. The entire region becomes lush green with vegetation and provides scenic views after monsoon. The average temperature remains between 28 to 35 degrees Celsius but it is really more comfortable than the summers.
